This early Elizabethan noble's hat is built with a plastic crown and laminated cardboard. The brim is 2" wide and the crown is 5" tall. This one is black smooth stretch velvet with solid black trim. Trims will vary.  Some of the smooth velvet Tall Hats have an attached 6 " ostrich plume.
